GUWAHATI: Assam Transport Minister Parimal Suklabaidya officially launched the ASTC City Cab service on Wednesday. The app has been on trial for a month since June 26 and aims to provide better service to the public. Users can easily download the app from popular app stores for mobile devices and use it for their daily commutes. Cab drivers can also use the same method for securing rides and avoid problems like those with the aggregators.
The brand promises zero trip cancellations by drivers, safety measures like a panic button for emergencies, a hotline button for airport trips, and an AI Chatbot Helpdesk for queries. It also charges a limited commission from the drivers.
