Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O' Farrell visits NEDFi

GUWAHATI: Barry O' Farrell AO, Australian High Commissioner to India, visited North Eastern Development Finance Corporation (NEDFi), NEDFi House, Guwahati and met the Chairman and Managing Director PVSLN Murty and NEDFi officials on Tuesday.

During the meeting, NEDFi made a presentation on the economic scenario of the north-eastern region of India, its resources and potential investment opportunities in the region and also NEDFi's role and activities for the development, including funding support extended to startups from north-eastern region.

The High Commissioner in his discussion highlighted a few strategic areas such as infrastructure development, consultancy services and investment in promising startups which may be explored together.
