Awareness drive on "Krishak Samparka Abhiyan" by BJP Kishan Morcha

GUWAHATI: BJP Kisan Morcha, Assam Pradesh initiated a 15-day farmers' awareness drive "Krishak Samparka Abhiyan" in all organization districts of the state, except some flood-affected districts and the Karbi Autonomous Council. The programme will conclude on June 4.

It organized the programme on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing eight years in the PMO.

Kisan Morcha's state office-bearers inaugurated the programme in different districts.

On this occasion, Bharatiya Janata Party Central Committee took imitative to organize a mass campaign drive on Sewa, Good Governance and welfare of the poor achieved during the tenure of the Prime Minister.

During this campaign, state and district Kisan Morcha Karyakartas, along with other morcha karyakartas, visited farmers and made them aware of agriculture schemes and benefits. The programme includes PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Beneficiaries, Minimum Support Price (MSP) Rice Procurement beneficiaries and other farmers also. There are so many PM Kisan beneficiaries and other farmers who can avail of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and agriculture loans, but they are unaware of this scheme. So, Kisan Morcha decided to be aware about KCC and its benefits during the campaign, a press release said.
