GUWAHATI: The Bharatiya Janata Party organized three organizational meetings on Saturday. President of the Assam unit Bhabesh Kalita and Organizing General Secretary Phanindra Nath Sharma attended these meetings and discussed the details regarding the upcoming Maha Jansampark Abhiyan.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also attended a meeting of the presidents, district in-charges and co-in-charges of the organisational districts of BJP Assam Pradesh. In his speech, the CM urged his party members to continue working with a selfless attitude towards the building of the country and bearers of the party’s ideologies and policies. He also mentioned that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the country will keep on going forward.

He also mentioned that BJP will be able to win more seats in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections than ever before and suggested all the workers at the state district and zonal levels engage in intimate conversation through grass-root level meetings. The CM also urged every party worker to be active on social media and take the welfare schemes undertaken by the central and state governments to the people of the state. This meeting was followed by a special meeting of the office bearers of the eight state BJP morchas. The meeting was also attended by state BJP general secretaries Dipluranjan Sharma, Pulak Gohain and Pallavi Lochan Das.
