Bhogali Mela gets underway at NEDFi Haat in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) has organized a Bhogali Mela at NEDFi Haat in the city. The Bhogali Mela, which got underway on Tuesday, will continue till January 14. Various Assamese delicacies like pitha, doi, Sivasagar's hurum and liquid jaggery will be sold at the Mela. Besides, there will also be food stalls selling local Assamese cuisines.

The Bhogali Mela has been organized by the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM) and 30 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and entrepreneurs will be taking part in this Mela.
