Bishnupriya Manipuri Development Council row: Ex-member threatens to file a case

GUWAHATI: A former member of the BMDC (Bishnupriya Manipuri Development Council), Sankha Sinha has requested the State government to remove the names of Chairman Ramkrishna Sinha and Deputy Chairman Samarjit Sinha from the list notified by the government as members of the Council. He has said that if the two names are not removed from the list, he will resort to file a case. Addressing the media here on Sunday, Sankha Sinha said that despite doing a lot of works for the BMDC he has been deprived of his due in the Council. Jayanti Sinha, president of the Bishnupriya Mahila Committee, was also present at the press conference. Sankha Sinha claimed to have the support of the Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Yuva Parishad.
