BJP Distributes Free Medicines At The Chandrapur High School Playground

GUWAHATI: BJP general secretary and Assam incharge Ram Madhav arrived here in the city for the BJP launched ‘Sewa Saptah’ on Sunday. He met with certain prominent members of Assam including Arjun Bhabeshwar Baruah, Dr Dhurbajyoti Bora, among others, who appreciated and congratulated 100 days of BJP rule in the country.

Madhav visited the health-camp organized at the Chandrapur high school playground as part of the Sewa Saptah on Monday. Free health check-up and medication were distributed during the programme. Party president Ranjit Kumar Dass and Guwahati MP Queen Ojha were also present during the occasion.

The Sewa Saptah is a noble initiative undertaken by BJP to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17. Since Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujrat, the Sewa Saptah has been conducted in Gujrat and after he became the Prime Minister, the programme has been organized all over India each year. On August 15, the Prime Minister advocated a speech on plastic ban and though the Sewa Saptah, awareness against the use of SUP (Single Use Plastic) as well as raise water conservation has been attempted.
