Body found in Six Mile area of Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Shocking reports emerged when a body of a young woman was found dead in an apartment. The incident took place in the Six Mile area. The deceased is identified as Anju Dorji from Bokajan.

According to sources, the deceased was found dead on the bed in her apartment. She was in a live-in relationship with a man identified as Mani Khan. Soon after Anju’s body was found on Saturday, her partner’s phone Mani phone was switched off, and currently his whereabouts are unknown. Mani Khan was from Howly.

According to police sources, Mani Khan identified him as a businessman but Anju’s parents refuse to recognize him. Both of them was residing as a tenants in the apartment. The owner of the apartment reported the police, and they reached the site and sent the body to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for a postmortem. Though the death of Anju is yet to be known, police are suspicious of Mani.
