Body of Meghalaya woman recovered in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: In mysterious circumstances, the body of a woman was recovered in the Hatigaon area on Thursday. The body is identified as Rwitika Sonar.

According to police sources, a young woman from Nongpoh, Meghalaya, was found dead in Hatigaon. Meanwhile, when the incident came to light, the police detained a youth, identified as Rupesh Rai, a resident of West Bengal, for questioning. It seems that the duo was allegedly staying in a live-in relationship.
