Bureau of Investigation of Economic Offences raids Silpukhuri society

GUWAHATI: On February 2, a high-level team of Bureau of Investigation of Economic Offences (BIEO), including the Supply Superintendent, raided the Shilpukhuri Cooperative Society under Morigaon district on the basis of a public complaint that the national food security scheme rice allotted for the poor beneficiaries for the January month was not distributed to the real beneficiaries. A team of Economic Offences Investigation Association (ESA) found that he had interrogated and interrogated the Shilpukhuri cooperative society under Morigaon district along with documents of various agents of the cooperative.

The president of the cooperative was present but the secretary was not present. They have been instructed to show the documents as the chairman was unable to show any documents. The secretary's name is Pranjaljyoti Kakati and the president's name is Ziabur Haque.
