Captive turtle, cages seized in Rangia, two persons arrested

GUWAHATI: As follow-up action over the seizure of 40 exotic animals in Rangia on September 8, the Rangia police along with the CID of Assam Police conducted a joint raid on Sunday and recovered a captive turtle and several cages from Kuworigaon in Bongora under the Borhjar Outpost. The raid was conducted at the rented house of the two persons arrested on Thursday in connection with the incident at Rangia.
