Guwahati: As the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday declared the Class 10 results, the Trivandrum recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.99% but Guwahati recorded the lowest pass percentage at 82.23%.
Apart from Trivandrum, the other cities which recorded a good passing percentage were Bengaluru (99.96%), Chennai (99.94), Pune (99.92), and Ajmer (99.88).
With 82.23 percent, Guwahati is at the bottom of the table.
Soon after announcing the 12th results on Friday, the CBSE also announced Class 10 board examination results.
The girls have performed better in class 10th exam as well, as the passing percentage of the girls is 95.21 percent. On the other hand, the passing percentage of the boys stands at 93.80 percent.
However, there is a slight dip in the overall pass percentage as it has gone down as compared to the previous year's 99.04 percent. This year's pass percentage is 94.40.
Students need to score 33 percent aggregate to pass the CBSE 10th board examination.
A total of 21 lakh students appeared for CBSE Class 10 and 14 lakh students appeared for CBSE 12th exam 2022 this year.
