Celebrate Holi with caution: Prof. Jagdish Mukhi & CM Sarbananda Sonowal

GUWAHATI: Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has wished the Holi festival to become a harbinger of joy, happiness and merriment for all cutting across all religions, caste, creed and ethnicity in the State.

“I hope that the colors of Holi help everybody to overcome seasonal aliments and lead people to become healthy and wealthy. I at the same time request the people to celebrate the festival carefully especially in the wake of reported spread of coronavirus”, the Governor said. In a statement, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that the celebrations of Holi would strengthen the bond of brotherhood, friendship and harmony. In view of corona virus outbreak, Sonowal urged people to celebrate the festival with adequate precautions.
