GUWAHATI: As all of us are aware that large section of the society are suffering immensely due to nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of pandemic COVID-19. Government employees have generously rendered their help to the needy ones during this period. The Central Government employees also came forward in this mission. The members, officers and staff of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Guwahati Bench had organized a relief distribution programme in its office premise at Rajgarh Road, Bhangagarh on Friday. It may be mentioned that all the officers and staff including the members have already helped many families in their respective localities. On Saturday they have supplied foods (rice, dal, potato, onion, mustard oil, salt, biscuit, soap etc.) for at least one week to more than 60 families of Lachit Nagar, Anil Nagar, Rup Nagar and the Zonali area. During the programme all the necessary precautions were observed to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19. The recipient families have expressed their gratefulness to the officers and staff of the Tribunal.
It may be mentioned that before this programme, all the officers and staff including the members of this Tribunal have already helped the needy families in their respective localities.
