Central approval for Oil India Limited's centre

GUWAHATI: Government of India recently accorded its approval for Centre of Excellence for Energy Studies (CoEES), Guwahati of Oil India Limited (OIL) to be recognized as a Designated Institute for conducting screening of fields for implementing Enhanced Recovery Methods (ERM). ERM is a process of extracting additional oil from oilfields beyond the conventional methods of production techniques, stated a release.
