Central Guwahati Police District seized Drugs; 3 held

GUWAHATI: A team of the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) from Noonmati Police Station arrested Bikram Singha, alias Tiku, of Narengi Housing Colony. The team caught him with five vials containing 2.40 g of suspected heroin and 27 pouches of ganja weighing 86.87 g from the Sector 3 flyover. On the other hand, a team of the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) of Fancy Bazar outpost under Panbazar Police Station arrested two drug peddlers identified as Ajibur Rahman and Kurban Ali, both hailing from Chaygaon. The team seized three soap boxes containing 34 g of suspected brown sugar from their possession.
