Chandra Mohan Patowary Assures Support, Security To Damaged Plant

GUWAHATI: State Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, along with Kamrup DC Kamal Kumar Baishya and SP Parth Sarathi Mahanta, visited Ajanta Pharma at Palasbari on Wednesday in connection with an accident that occurred at the plant on August 31, 2019, leading to the death of two persons. The minister took stock of the damage caused to the plant by miscreants and assured all help and support to the plant authorities for resuming its works, a press release said. The minister also said that the government would provide security to the plant.
