Chandrapur AASU demands Dispur MLA Atul Bora's resignation

GUWAHATI: The Chandrapur Anchalik Chatra Santha (CACS), a unit of the AASU (All Assam Students' Union) has demanded the resignation of Dispur MLA Atul Bora. The students' body has alleged that Bora is responsible for the relocation of the dumping ground from Boragaon to Chandrapur. "The government has allotted land in Chandrapur to the GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) for the relocation of the dumping ground. Bora being a member of the Kamrup Metro Land Advisory Committee didn't oppose the decision," said CACS general secretary Sourav Das.
