Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal mourns the demise of Jagya Bezbaruah

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday condoled the demise of renowned Assamese musician, Shilpi Bota recipient Jagya Bezbaruah.

The Chief Minster said that the people of Assam will forever cherish late Bezbaruah's contribution to the society.

Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary also expressed condolences.

In a statement, the Minister said, "Jagya Bezbaruah will always be remembered for his dedication and contribution to Assamese music. He has left a permanent footprint in the field of Assamese songs and music.''
