CID arrested 2 persons, 78 gms of suspected heroin recovered in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip off, a team of CID (Criminal Investigation Department) on Wednesday arrested two persons and recovered 78 gms of suspected heroin during an operation conducted at a rented house located at Arunodoy Path, Barsajai under Hatigaon Police Station.

The arrested persons are - Sultan Ali (32) of Kalaigaon, and Abbash Ali of Rowta under Udalguri district. The suspected heroin has been seized from the possession of Sultan Ali and his accomplice Abbash Ali. In this connection, a case has been registered at the CID Police Station.
