Coffee shop manager assaulted, FIR lodged at Bhangagarh Police Station

GUWAHATI: Unidentified miscreants allegedly attacked the manager of a branded coffee shop in GS Road in the city on Monday night.

The incident took place at the ABC Point on GS Road. The manager has been identified as Bhaskar Jyoti Das. Sources said that he was on his way home when two persons came on a bike and attacked him with sharp weapons, and fled away. Das was seriously injured. Some passersby rushed Das to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Later, he was shifted to a private hospital.

An FIR has been lodged at the Bhangagarh Police Station and investigation is going on.
