Congress failed due to its inner conflicts and wrong policies: Raijor Dal

GUWAHATI: The newly-floated political party Raijor Dal has asserted that Congress has lost the battle of the Assembly polls due to its inner conflicts and wrong policies.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Raijor Dal working president Bhasco De Saikia stated that the 'Mitrajoot' won the elections due to the Congress.

"The Congress is not worthy of the people and it has failed not only in Assam but in other States as well. The Raijor Dal has gifted Mariani, Thowra and Nazira constituencies to the Congress," said Saikia.

Further, he stressed that only a strong regional force can root out the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) from power in Assam.

"With a spirit of regionalism, the Raijor Dal has started its works to root out the BJP from power," he added.
