Congress releases document entitled ‘Nau Saal, Nau Sawaal’

GUWAHATI: The Congress party released a document titled ‘Nau Saal, Nau Sawaal’ (nine years, nine questions) aimed at questioning the party in power regarding their actions in the past years in power from Guwahati on Saturday. The document was released in the presence of AICC General Secretary Ajay Maken and several other members of the party.

The questions posed by the party have been divided into several categories, including economy, agriculture, and farmers; corruption; national security; social harmony; social justice; democracy; welfare; and COVID management. These questions are expected to be asked at press meets in 35 cities across the country in the coming days.

Some of the key questions posed by the leaders include inflation and unemployment, economic disparities, the income of farmers, the minimum selling price, and benefits to particular brands. Relations with China, hatred between communities, increased atrocities against particular communities, weakening constitutional values, changes in welfare schemes, and a lack of compensation for COVID victims are also among the questions that the party is planning to ask the central government.
