Guwahati : Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has, reportedly, appealed the people to remain indoors for at least two weeks due to the novel coronavirus threat. As the number of coronavirus positive cases swelled in the country, the Chief Minister said, “I appeal all to remain inside the door. If possible people should remain indoors for at least two weeks. It would help check the virus infection. Nobody should come out from home for loitering.” He also urged to maintain social distancing to break the virus chain. However, he exempted those who are employed in emergency services. Earlier on Sunday, the Union government directed respective state governments to declare complete close-down in coronavirus infected 75 districts, as a preventive measure. Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 positive cases rose to 323 in the country. Besides, seven corona pandemic patients died so far in the country.
