Cotton University to start admission process for PG courses

GUWAHATI: Admission process for Post-Graduate (PG) programmes of study in Cotton University (CU) will begin on September 4 with online registration and submission of applications through the admission webpage of CU website (https.//admissions.cottonuniversity.ac.in)

There will be no provision of offline submission of applications for admission. The last date of submission will be September 11, 2021. Except for a few programmes of study to be newly introduced this year, Cotton University reserves 50 per cent of the seats in each PG course for CU graduates (passed in 2021or 2020 only) on certain condition. The remaining 50 per cent of seats, called 'Open Category' seats, are open to graduates with honours/major in the concerned/related discipline from all recognized universities.

Eligible candidates will be selected for admission in 'Open Category' seats through the Cotton PG Entrance Examination, 2021 (CPGEE-2021). In some of the subjects of study, all seats including those reserved for CU graduates, will be filled through CPGEE-2021. The entrance examination will be held during September 21 to September 25 and the details of the examination will be notified by the Controller of Examinations of CU.

The notification with all details of the admission process will be published in CU website on September 4.
