COVID-19 Vaccine Dry Run Conducted in Various Places of Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Jan 8: The second phase of COVID-19 vaccine 'dry run' was successful conducted at three different places – Dhirenpara FRU (First Referral Unit), Notboma MPHC (Maintenance and Preventive Home Care) and Marwari Hospital and Research Centre, Athgaon – in Guwahati on Friday. From every centre, 25 persons were selected for the COVID-19 vaccine. In the programme, NHM director MunindraNagtey, Officer on Special Duty PomiBaruah, among other officials of the NHM including DrBinitaGoswami, and DrBhabendra Kumar Das were present. The NHM (National Health Mission) sources stated that the dry run is being conducted to assess the State's preparedness at all levels before the actual rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine.
