CPI(M) flays CM Himanta's comment on the Opposition's role

GUWAHATI: The CPI(M) has come down heavily over the Chief Minister's recent comment on the Opposition's role.

The party's Assam State secretary, Deben Bhattacharyya said in a statement that the CM's remarks have ridiculed not only the elected representatives but also the electorates of the State. The Left leader added, "An MLA has his responsibilities towards the masses in his or her constituency."
