Crowdfunding for baby aging six months on ImpactGuru.com.

GUWAHATI: Parents of 6-month-old Praneet Jaiswal, who has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disease, is crowdfunding on ImpactGuru.com.

The baby is suffering from Hemophago-lymphohistiocytosis (HLH- A type of primary Immunodeficiency Disease). The Doctors have planned for Haplo-identical allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) with the child's mother as the BMT donor. The estimated cost for the treatment is approximately Rs 20 lakh. Unable to cover the treatment expenses, the family took to crowdfunding on ImpactGuru.com. So far, 367 donors have cumulatively contributed Rs. 4.78 lakh on the ImpactGuru fundraiser.
