GUWAHATI: Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), will visit Assam in the first half of March, he told state party leaders on Monday.
Along with Sandeep Pathak, the national general secretary of the AAP, Kejriwal will travel to Assam. According to sources, Bhaben Choudhury met with Arvind Kejriwal and Sandeep Pathak in New Delhi along with a number of other senior party officials from the state unit. The team evaluated a number of development initiatives started by the Kejriwal administration, such as mohalla clinics and school renovations in Delhi.
Assam’s AAP party will instantly receive a boost if Arvind Kejriwal and Sandeep Pathak arrive, according to Lakshmikanta Dubey, the party’s state joint coordinator. The pair will lay the groundwork for both the Lok Sabha elections and the Panchayat elections while they are in Assam, he continued.
