GUWAHATI: The Sara Asom Bangali Oikyomoncha (SABO) has moved the State Governor with a memorandum seeking the report of the inquiry conducted into the killing of five Hindu Bengalis at Dhola in Tinsukia district on November 1, 2018.

In the memorandum, SABO working president Santanu Mukherjee said, "Even after two years of the killing, its inquiry report has not been made public as yet. We demand of the government to make the report of the inquiry into the Dhola killing public.

"This part, a person named Pradip Shil, son of Kanai Shil of Ujan Petla village under Tamarhat police station in Dhubri district has been missing since September 27, 2019 from Sarfangguri in Kokrajhar district. According to the family members, Pradip has no communication with his family members. The police have also not been able to ascertain his whereabouts. We want the intervention of the Governor to ensure that the government make the report of the inquiry into the Dhola incident public and ascertain the whereabouts of Pradip Shil."
