Diesel smuggling racket busted in Guwahati, two persons arrested

GUWAHATI: A diesel smuggling racket was busted in the Hedayetpur area in Guwahati. The police apprehended two persons in this connection. According to the source, miscreants steal fuel from trains and sell it in the black market from which they earn Rs 30 per litre. The black market has a chain distributing stolen diesel. The police registered a case and investigation is on.
