Disruption of water supply in Guwahati due to technical fault

GUWAHATI: Water supply to the areas like Rajbhawan Road, Kharguli Road, Lamb Road, Latasil, Silpukhuri, Chandramari, Bamunimaidam, Nizorapar, Joypur etc will be disrupted from March 23 to March 25, 2021.

A technical fault arises due to short circuit of 500-KVA transformer at the intake point of Satpukhuri Water Treatment Plant under the GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation). According to the GMC, the restoration work has already started and is likely to be completed on March 25, 2021, a press release said.
