GUWAHATI: The Don Bosco Alumni (DBA) organized an awareness camp and distributed masks and sanitizers to the public, here on Saturday. The Corona Awareness programme was organized in the ABC area and the body distributed around 1,000 masks and sanitizers to the public including some office-bearers. Talking to the media, one of the alumni members said that they have organized the camp as an effort to reach out to those people who do not have access to masks and sanitizers, due to various reasons including unavailability in the market.

He said, “We are trying to approach the bus and auto-rickshaw drivers and the general people who cannot afford to buy a sanitizer or a mask. We have got around 1,000 Masks and 200 sanitizers and we are trying to collect more.

Many of the public present in the spot said that besides all the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the government and the administration, people need to remain careful about the sensitivity of the matter that may invite destruction.
