Draft photo electoral rolls to be published on November 1, 2021

GUWAHATI: As per the direction of the Election Commission of India (ECI), the draft photo electoral rolls for the year 2022 will be published on November 1, 2021.

Sources in the Election Department, Assam said that following the notification of the ECI, after the draft electoral rolls are published, people can file claims and objections.

The process for registering claims and objections will continue from November 1 to November 30. Disposal of claims and objections must be completed by December 20, 2021 and the final electoral roll will be published on January 5, 2022.
