Drunk Wife of Army Jawan Creates Ruckus At Dispur Police Station

Guwahati: A woman on Sunday caused a ruckus at the Dispur Police Station after she was caught along with her husband for excessive drinking.

Reportedly, the husband of the woman, who is an Indian Army Jawan was in an extremely drunken condition along with his wife.

As the police took them to the police station, the woman misbehaved with the officials present and created a scene there under the influence of alcohol.

The reports, further claimed that police personnel was injured as the woman attacked them.

Notably, in a similar incident in November last year, a drunk woman had created ruckus at the Gorchuk police station

A video, that went viral on the internet, showed that a woman, who was detained by the police shouted aloud on the police station premises. A wine bottle was seen on her hands while creating the nuisance.

A Uber driver who took the woman to the police station said that a boy sent her from a restaurant in his car.

"She was in an inebriated state. I did not wish to give a lift to her as our company does not permit this. But the boy who booked my car compelled me to give a lift to her," the driver added.
