East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team nabbed two extortionists

GUWAHATI: A team of the east Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Basistha Police Sttaion arrested two miscreants - Mridul Talukdar of Hengerabari and Neelkamal Hazarika of Hatigaon - for trying to extort from Magic drivers at the Khanapara stand.

Police sources said that a case (No 951/22 U/S 387/427/352/34 of IPC) has been registered in this connecion.
