GUWAHATI: An East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Basistha Police Station arrested Jahidul Islam (26) and Mahidul Islam (36), both from Barpeta, for trying to smuggle gold biscuits. The police seized six gold biscuits, weighing approximately 705 g. As per sources, they were carrying the seized items from Barpeta.
