Education Minister Ranoj Pegu Meets Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi

GUWAHATI: Education Minister Ranoj Pegu today met Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi at Raj Bhavan and discussed about the functioning of the Higher Education department and other relevant issues pertaining to the improvement of the Higher Education department in the state.

It may be noted that after taking over the post of Education Minister, Pegu during his first meeting with the Governor apprised him of the steps that he is going to take for further improvement of Higher, Secondary and Elementary education in the state. Governor also asked him to work for qualitative development of the education sector and assured all help from him. The Governor also asked the Minister to take special steps for meeting and implementing all the issues flagged at different forum to bring about innovation and flexibility in higher education.
