Employee of Pattanjali Aushadhalaya duped in Narengi UCO bank, Rs 20000 snatched

GUWAHATI: Chandan Rajbongshi, an employee who worked at Pattanjali Aushadhalaya in Narengi was sent to UCO bank, Bonda branch on Friday to deposit Rs 20000 by the owner of shop Suraj Chakraborty. While standing on queue, he was asked for some help by an elderly. Upon doing so, two men came to the scene and chided Chandan for making some mistake in trying to help the elderly and they took him outside, where they snatched the money and fled in a city bus. Chakraborty informed the bank about the crime and CCTV footage is checked to unearth the culprits.
