Enough protection kits for doctors & nurses, says Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma

GUWAHATI: On the kits meant for the protection of doctors and nurses, State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said here on Wednesday, “We’ve 9,000 personal protection kits, 80,000 N95 masks, and 8 lakh triple-layered masks. We’re in a comfortable position.”

He further added, “As many as 6,252 donors have contributed Rs 8.28 crore as donations to the ‘Assam Arogya Nidhi’. He also stated that the remuneration of ASHA workers has been hiked by Rs 1,000 monthly for three months.
