Ensure full salary to employees: Centre of Indian Trade Unions to CM Sarbananda Sonowal

GUWAHATI: The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), Assam State Committee urged the State government to take effective initiatives to help the daily wage earners and labourers during the lockdown period, on Tuesday. CITU, Assam State Committee has sent a letter to the Chief Minister asking to ensure that all the employees and labourers working in different sectors get their full salary for the time period of March 24 to May 3. In the letter, the Centre of Indian Trade Unions mentioned that though the government is helping the needy, the organization feels that there’s a lot more to do to get effective results. Hence, the organization raised several issues by appealing the government to follow the necessary actions to resolve the same.
