Fake CBI Officer Arrested By Paltan Bazaar Police

GUWAHATI: Paltan bazaar police caught a phony CBI officer from a private hospital on Tuesday. The fraud would sometimes pretend to be a doctor and sometimes a CBI officer and used the name Dr Supriyo Mukherjee while he looted various organizations. He entered the private hospital and enquired about documents. Upon being asked for identity proof, he was discovered and the hospital authorities handed him over to Paltanbazaar police. It was later discovered that the fraud was staying at a hotel in Paltan bazaar and was from Kolkatta.
