FICN of value Rs 7 lakh seized by West Guwahati Police District

GUWAHATI: A West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) team from Gorchuk PS arrested one Kinder M Sangma of South Garo Hills, Meghalaya, and seized fake Indian currency notes (FICN) with a face value of Rs 7 lakh, at the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) on Tuesday. Police sources said that Sangma had bought the fake currency notes at Jorabat by paying Rs 3 lakh. All the FICN were of Rs 500 denomination.
