Fire breaks out in Maligaon area of Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Fire broke out in the Goshala Bazar locality of Maligaon in the wee hours of Tuesday. The reason for the fire is being investigated. The fire is reported to have started at around 1 AM on Tuesday. The officials from the fire and emergency services as well as the Assam Police reached the location soon after they received the reports of the fire. But it took a long time to bring the fire under control and this led to the gutting of a total of five business establishments in the locality.
