Ganja worth Rs 30,000 seized; one held at Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) apprehended one miscreant with ganja on Sunday.

According to sources, the GRP and RPF carried out a routine checkup on the arrival of the Agartala to Deogarh Express at Guwahati Railway Station on Sunday. In the course of checking, they apprehended a miscreant with a bag containing one packet packed with brown cellotape and later found out the suspected item to be ganja. The miscreant is identified as Satiyam Kumar (22) of Bihar.

The recovered ganja values approximately Rs 30,000 and weighs 3 kg. Later, the miscreant is handed over to the GRP.
