Geetanagar Police Arrested ATM Hackers In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tipoff, Geetanagar police caught two ATM hackers, Fakaruddin and Samim Ahmed of Hariyana were arrested on Monday. As per the police, the two arrived in the city three days ago and were staying at Dispur lodge. A case (543/19 U/S 420/379/511) has been registered against them. Meanwhile, manager of the lodge, Jamir Ali of Barpeta was also arrested for housing the two criminals without registering any identity proof. 30 ATMs and two blank cheques were recovered from their possession.
