GMC sanitization programme continues for second day amid coronavirus outbreak in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Wednesday continued its sanitization programme across the city for the second consecutive. According to reports, three teams of the GMC are engaged in the disinfecting process. The first team conducted the drive at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and Minister of State Health and Family welfare Pijush Hazarika also inspected its premises. Another team sanitized the GMCH road, Kachari Basti, Nayanpur Road, NP Bordoloi, RG Baruah Road and Zoo Road. The third team covered the RG Baruah Road (Ganeshguri to State Zoo) and the bylanes in Ganeshguri and Bhangarh at the GS Road.
