Government should investigate and arrest all culprits involved in question paper leak: ABVP

GUWAHATI: The cancellation of the Assamese subject examination has exposed the hollow nature of the SEBA and the Education Department of the Assam government. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) strongly condemns the incident regarding the publication of question papers before the commencement of the HSLC examination.

The SEBA Board has been unable to conduct the first board examination of a student in a confidential manner, and the ABVP also demands that the Government of Assam should investigate and punish the culprits as soon as possible. They have no right to cause mental sufferings to thousands of students and their parents, stated a press release.

State Secretary Simanta Kr Baishya has expressed his concern about the incident and said, "The government of Assam must take immediate action to investigate the matter as early as possible and take punitive action against the culprits; those who are engaged in such criminal acts and those who are already arrested must be severely punished legally, and actions must be taken with no delay to stop such type of negligence and inefficiency of any responsible official in the future."
