Governor Gulab Chand Kataria wishes people on Kali Puja, Deepawali

GUWAHATI: Governor Gulab Chand Kataria extended his greetings to the people of Assam on the joyous occasion of Kali Puja and Deepawali. The governor said the divine blessings of Maa Kali may bring joy, peace, and prosperity to the people of the state. Kataria also said, “Deepawali is the festival of lights, which signifies the victory of righteousness over evil.”The festival also dispels darkness to pave ways to wisdom”. The governor also said, “May this festival of lights be the harbinger of peace, joy, and prosperity to ward off all darkness from our state and strengthen the bond of unity, amity, and brotherhood amidst us”. The governor urged the people to make this festival of lights a reason to make Assam cleaner and greener and celebrate a pollution-free Deepawali.
