Guwahati: Dispur College distributes uniforms to its adopted schools

The Dispur College distributed school uniforms on Saturday to those two schools that the college had adopted. The two schools are Pragjyotish L.P. School and Gurunanak L.P. School in the Islampur area of Guwahati.

GUWAHATI: The Dispur College distributed school uniforms on Saturday to those two schools that the college had adopted. The two schools are Pragjyotish L.P. School and Gurunanak L.P. School in the Islampur area of Guwahati.

The occasion was graced by Dr. Navajyoti Borah, Principal of Dispur College, along with the faculties and students of the institution. The teachers and members of both schools appreciated the gesture, and the students were very happy to receive the items.

The principal said that “Dispur College Extension Activity Cell distributed school uniforms amongst 75 students of Pragjyotish L.P. School and Gurunanak L.P. School of Guwahati.”

“Our college adopted these two schools as per Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) order GPR/58/2022/Pt/21/356 on July 3, 2023. Dispur College strongly believes that achieving inclusive and quality education for all reaffirms the belief that education is one of the most powerful and proven vehicles for sustainable development. Dispur College is rigorously working on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 4: Quality Education to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all,” the principal added.
